Now to why I believe in Internet Marketing.

‘Internet Marketing Works’ is a statement to all those who still maintain that ‘Internet Marketing’ is "a waste of time", it is "a mug’s game", it is for "scam mongers", it is only for "huge multimillion dollar businesses", and host of other statements to the same effect.

This article is not a promotion of any sort, but a testimony to ‘Internet Marketing’ and its power as a source of  ‘active online income’ or ‘passive online income’ even to the ordinary lay person.

All a person needs to be successful in ‘Internet Marketing’ is the right ‘INFORMATION’ when he starts out. The starting out phase is the crucial ‘mind set’ phase.  Starting out with the right ‘INFORMATION’ is the key to guaranteed success.

This story says it all. A laryngectomee (known as a neck breather in medical circles), took up to Internet marketing because he COULD NOT FIND any alternative ACTIVITY that DID NOT DEPEND ON HIS VOICE, OR ABILITY TO SPEAK, and that would generate an income based on HIS PHYSICAL AND INTELLECTUAL INPUT ALONE, i.e. working (at home preferably) 8 to 10 hours a day on his computer.

In other words, an 8 to 10 hour a day job that did not involve any talking and any other physical activity what so ever.

He started out as an Internet Merchant with the purchase of a package of 6 websites, hosting inclusive, in May 2004 at an initial cost of $6000.00 AUD. From that day till the end of 2006, he had worked about 4 hours a day on average on those websites, and added a further investment of another $30,000 AUD, but had not yet earned a cent.

He became desperate, frustrated and demoralized. Where did he go wrong? What was he doing wrong? Was everyone right about Internet Marketing?

He had no more money to invest in software or services, but he was determined to turn this around.

Using his:

• Two fairly fast computers,
• Fast internet connection,
• One of the 6 websites he had purchased in May 2004,

He started all over again from scratch. Using:

• Layman’s English, and
• The search engines,

He first researched the term ‘Internet Marketing’.

Within a month’s time he had learned more about ‘Internet Marketing’ than he had thought himself in the last 2 and half years.

‘INFORMATION’, I repeat, the right ‘INFORMATION’ was what he lacked, when he started out in May 2004. Had he done this research on the ‘Concept of Internet Marketing’ when he had first started out, he would have saved himself over $25,000.00 AUD and would have started earning money a lot earlier.

To-day, operating from Australia, he sells Pet Products, Cat Furniture to be precise, to be shipped to destinations within the 48 continental states of the USA ONLY.

He has made over 2000 individual sales on two websites, YET he has:

• Not seen or touched the products he has sold.
• Not seen, spoken to, or know the person who supplies him those products.
• Not seen, spoken to, or know the persons who have bought these products.
• Not handled nor supervised the shipping of these products.

With every sales transaction, he gets:

• Paid in advance for a product he does not own,

And he gets to:

• Use that money to pay for the product purchased on his website, and gets it shipped to his customer, keeping a little profit for himself.

The second time around, all he did was:

• Build a family orientated, content rich, search engine friendly website.
• Advertise and sell some one else’s products on it.
• Build a Blog to promote that website.
• With working knowledge from the articles he researched.
• Not a cent in expenditure of any form.

To succeed in selling Cat Furniture as I have described above, he used what is known in the industry as ‘DROP SHIPPING’. ‘DROP SHIPPING’ is an industry activity, which till very recent time, was known to, and limited to the United States.

It is currently used in Canada and the United Kingdom also, but not as much as it is in the USA.

As of writing this, I have not yet found a serious, financially viable drop shipper in Australia.

This gentleman currently owns 20 websites, 14 of which, he has added on to the original 6, and are 3 or 4 page mini sites devoted to selling ‘DIGITAL PRODUCTS’ in his own right as an owner and as an ‘AFFILIATE PROMOTER’.

One of his websites is a blog dedicated to promoting his other websites.

This my friend, is proof, that if started out with the right information, Internet Marketing works.

It is without any doubt a proven source of active and passive online income even to a lay person.

Another testimonial to my claim that ‘Internet Marketing Works’ is ‘AFFILIATE MARKETING’ and that is an industry in itself, but I will no go into its details now, and here.
