As job loses seem to be the norm many have looked to the web for income. One of the fastest ways to get targeted traffic to a site is to use pay per click advertising. But if you are not sure how to set it properly you could find yourself lossing big money fast. So follow this advice to spend less on your campaigns.

Potential buyers are hunting for a good deal. You need to promote the savings in your campaign. Let your visitors know that you have the best price for the quality. Say something like 15% off brand X product or on sale now in your ad. Also use language like save or discount in your ad to add more of a value to your advertising.

Don’t use keywords that simply sound good. Use phrases that people are normally punching in the search engines. Use a keyword researcher to find out what visitors type in to find a product. Then add in those keywords into your landing page to make the body of your copy more relevant. Then craft your ad campaign around the phrase. This will help bring down your bounce rate.

Wasted clicks is something you want to avoid so use the negative keyword box to delete any wrong placing. For even better results use the exact match feature. That way you are assured that your ad will only show up on your exact keyword phrase only.

Set up a landing page that makes it easy for consumers to purchase what you are selling. Visitors do not want to click page after page to find out how to buy. Make the process as work free as possible.

Check to see which keywords are doing the best then start deleting phrases that are not. Don’t hope and pray that is will get better. Focus on the ones that are going good even if you end up using just one keyword. Then just create a new campaign with different phrases later.

Don’t spend too much time on a campaign that is not converting. The income you can pay out on these ads can ad up quickly if you are not getting any sales or signups. Give it a week or so and if you are not converting then pause your campaign and adjust your content or try different keyword phrases.
